Spring Valley School (SVS) is a Senior Secondary Co-educational English Medium School functioning in the National Institute of Technology Calicut(NITC) Campus and is affiliated to Central Board of Secondary Education , New Delhi(code : 930100).It is managed by REC SPECTRA (Society for Promotion of Educational , Cultural and Training Activities), a charitable society registered under the societies' act (1860) .

The members of the society are faculty members of NITC (National Institute of Technology Calicut) and DOEACC Centre , Calicut , located adjacent to NITC have considered the school as a part of their staff welfare measures.

The Objectives of the school are:

• To develop and run a Senior Secondary School that imaprts tution up to the Plus-two level following national syllabi and curricula.
• To provide adequate facility and motivation for learning while promoting total personality development and humane attitude
• To act as a nodal centre for the Schools in the region , to cater knowledge and information in the emerging scientific , technological and social inventions to prepare children for the future.
